About Us

Partners Cally Anderson and Max Shapiro met while attending the Institute of Culinary Education in Pasadena California. They founded Cally Jean Cakes with their passion for handcrafted, uniquely delicious desserts. Guided by the same ethos of the fine dinning kitchens they worked in, they set out to create a specialty cake shop that takes pride in its high quality ingredients, well-balanced flavors, and precise execution.
